What is SARA and Why Should I Join?

SARA is the Society of Amateur Radio Astronomers Inc.. They are a non-profit amateur society which had its origins in the early 80's. Jeffrey Lichtman, the founder of the society, is still very active and helping others around the world experience this wonderful hobby. I, (Jim Sky), have been a member since 1986 and have never regretted a cent of my dues. Within SARA's ranks you will find a broad spectrum of talents and interests. Why should you join?
